HARRISBURG, Pa., April 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Harsco Corporation (NYSE: HSC) announced today that it has completed the sale of its Astralloy Wear Technology specialty metals unit to International Metal Service (IMS), a France-based affiliate of the Usinor-Sacilor Groupe S.A., for $8 million in cash.

Located in Birmingham, AL, Astralloy Wear Technology produces wear- resistant steel components for a variety of industrial uses. IMS specializes in metallurgical products for the anti-abrasion, anti-corrosion and engineering steel markets, with sales in some 50 countries.
